Dec 27, 20251 min read

A synonym often used in Blockchain Networks for those who author blocks (Authoring Nodes) and those who actively check the work of other authors.

Work done by the validators is said to be Trustless and onchain.

This term is most often used in proof of stake networks, and in proof of work, they are called Miners.
